Exosomes, Polynucleotides & The New Way We Treat Skin | Webinar 2 with Dr Lord

Exosomes, Polynucleotides & The New Way We Treat Skin

With Dr Keiron Lord & Nita McEvoy

We didn’t kick this webinar off with “which lip shape is trending” or a dramatic before-and-after.

We started with something far more meaningful:

Are we still just filling and freezing faces… or are we finally treating the skin properly?

That really set the tone for the entire session with Dr Lord. Not another “miracle product,” not another sales pitch, but a genuine shift in how we think about ageing, repair, and long-term skin integrity. If we’re being honest, giving someone a quick cosmetic win is easy and helps their skin behave better for the next decade. That’s where the real work and the real expertise sit.

That’s precisely where exosomes and polynucleotides stop being buzzwords and start becoming the backbone of modern aesthetics.

Ageing Skin: It’s Not Just Lines and Wrinkles, It’s a Communication Breakdown

Dr Lord has this gift of taking a complicated bit of biology and making it sound like the most logical thing in the world. We see the same issues walk into the clinic day after day: lines, dullness, sagging, crepey texture, and, for years, the response has been predictable: add a little volume here, soften that movement, freeze that frown.

Those treatments still have their place; they’re not going anywhere, but the truth is the changes we see at the surface start long before anything becomes visible.

Deep inside the skin, fibroblasts (the cells responsible for making collagen) don’t vanish; they drift into a kind of sleep mode. Mitochondria get tired and stop producing enough energy for the skin to repair itself properly. DNA repair becomes inconsistent. Hormones shift, especially for women, and collagen follows. And then there’s the background hum of chronic, low-grade inflammation that slowly chips away at structure, integrity and resilience.

So by the time someone sits in your chair saying, “I just feel like my whole face has dropped,” the issue isn’t just a lack of filler. It’s tired, under-performing skin that has forgotten how to behave.

That is where regenerative treatments truly belong.

What Exosomes Actually Do And Why Their Origin Matters

There’s a lot of noise around exosomes at the moment; half the industry is fascinated, and the other half is confused.

Dr Lord explained it beautifully: exosomes are simply tiny lipid envelopes that cells use to talk to each other. One cell bundles up a message, sends it off, and the next cell receives it and responds, repair this, regenerate that, strengthen here, protect there.

That’s the natural process.

But in aesthetics, the source of those exosomes matters more than anything.

Most of what’s circulating right now falls into a few buckets. Human-derived options that aren’t legal here in the UK & Ireland carry a significant immune risk. Animal-derived, which speaks a similar “biological language” but not a perfect one. Plant-derived, which sounds wholesome but communicates with our cells about as effectively as shouting across a continent.

Then there’s bacterial-derived, where Revive NX Exosomes sits.

Revive NX exosomes come from Lactobacillus, a microorganism with which our skin already has a long-standing relationship. We’ve co-evolved with it for millions of years, meaning the communication between these exosomes and our skin is naturally compatible, no ethical concerns, no immune drama, no guesswork.

What stands out even more is the concentration and quality. Revive NX delivers a high volume of exosomes per vial, supported by Nitrogen-1™, which reinforces the dermal–epidermal junction, the architectural glue that keeps the skin supported, healthy and responsive. And when we say “pharmaceutical grade,” this isn’t marketing fluff. The manufacturing, documentation and regulatory compliance are precisely what they should be.

If a brand can’t tell you what’s in their vial or where it comes from, that’s not a treatment, it’s a gamble.

Polynucleotides: The Blueprint, the Structure, the Support

If exosomes are the messengers, polynucleotides are the raw materials that allow repair actually to happen. These purified DNA fragments attract fibroblasts, enhance hydration, stimulate collagen and elastin production, and improve tissue quality in a way that feels genuinely rejuvenating rather than cosmetic.

They shine in crepey skin, sun damage, fragile areas, and especially the under eyes, where clients are desperate for results but terrified of looking swollen or overfilled.

And Dr Lord didn’t shy away from the truth: the polynucleotides that actually work tend to sting. If it feels like water and contains barely any active material, it’s not going to build anyone’s collagen. He works with much higher concentrations, enough to create real change, not just wish for it.

The under-eye work is where practitioners often struggle, because needles bruise easily in an area packed with delicate vessels. That’s why Dr Lord teaches a superficial cannula method: less bruising, more comfort, less panic, and far better treatment adherence.

When clients complete the full course, they understand the value, and more importantly, they see it in the mirror.

Why Combining Exosomes and Polynucleotides Is the Breakthrough

  • This is where everything comes together.
  • You can use exosomes on their own.
  • You can use polynucleotides on their own.
  • You’ll get results, just not the whole picture.
  • When used together, something shifts.
  • The skin isn’t guessing anymore. It understands what it’s being asked to do, and it has the materials to do it properly.
  • The exosomes deliver the instruction: repair, regenerate, behave like younger tissue.
  • The polynucleotides provide the structure, hydration, scaffolding, and biological support to carry out that instruction.
  • The skin becomes responsive again. Cooperative. Productive.

For clients in their late forties, fifties, sixties and beyond, or those whose skin has weathered sunbeds, hormones, inflammation or years of “I’ll deal with it later,” the idea that one treatment can fix everything is pure fantasy. What works is a structured, layered approach. Regeneration takes time, and when you give it that time, the results speak for themselves.

How The Regenerative Roadmap Works in Real Life

A dash-in, dash-out treatment won’t deliver what we’re talking about. Regeneration is biology, and biology needs time to do its job.

The roadmap Dr Lord shared made perfect sense, both scientifically and practically. You begin with exosomes and microneedling to wake everything up, strengthen communication and initiate repair. A few weeks later, you bring in polynucleotides for targeted structural work. And then you alternate, allowing the skin to respond, rest, rebuild and come back for more.

Over 12–18 weeks, the skin begins to behave differently. Clients typically see improvement around the six-week mark, but the more profound transformation continues for months.

And once the course is completed, maintenance becomes very simple. Clients come back every few months for a regeneration session, nothing dramatic, just consistent nourishment. At that point, they’re not “trying treatments”; they’re committed to longevity.

They stay loyal because the results speak louder than any marketing line.

Business Meets Biology

Toward the end, I took over the conversation because regenerative aesthetics isn’t just clinically intelligent, it’s financially smart.

This approach naturally creates long-term clients rather than one-off appointments. You see them regularly, they trust the process, they understand the roadmap, and they become walking advertisements for your work, not in a superficial, overfilled way, but in a “How does her skin look THAT good?” way.

Revive NX exosomes aren’t bargain products. They’re not meant to be. They’re high-quality, heavily researched, meticulously manufactured and supported by a pharmaceutical giant in South Korea. When you frame them correctly, as part of a structured, educational, regenerative treatment plan, the price makes sense because the results do.

We’re not chasing quick fixes anymore; we’re practising intelligent aesthetics and clients feel the difference instantly.

Support, Training & What’s Coming Next

Anyone who trains with us receives more than a certificate and a pat on the back. You get ongoing webinar education with Dr Lord, protocols you can apply immediately, a roadmap to integrate regenerative work into your business, and support in communicating your results in a way that’s ethical, clear and compelling.

And we’re expanding beyond skin.

Revive NX Hair & Scalp is the next evolution, exosomes combined with PDRN for scalp and follicular regeneration. Perfect for hair transplant clients, menopausal thinning, shedding, and anyone wanting healthier hair density and scalp function.

It’s one of the fastest-growing areas in aesthetics, and regenerative medicine is finally catching up to what clients have needed for years.

When you strip everything back, the message is simple:

We can keep treating skin like a surface problem…

Or we can treat it like a living organ with memory, intelligence, and the ability to repair itself when properly supported.

  • Exosomes.
  • Polynucleotides.
  • Structured, thoughtful protocols.
  • Clients who understand the why, not just the price.

That isn’t a trend, it’s the new baseline.
